This photographic exhibition, held in the summer of 2025 at the Telese Thermal Baths, takes visitors on a journey through the memory and history of the Telesina Valley, narrated through images, eyewitness accounts, and archival documents.
At the heart of the exhibition are the dramatic and decisive events of October 1943, when the men of the 45th Division of the United States Army passed through the Sannio region, playing a vital role in its liberation from Nazi-Fascist occupation. Their advance marked the beginning of a long road toward freedom and the end of the conflict.
